We have, since we introduced the first reversing alarm in Europe in 1976, been a for fighter of vehicle and off road machinery safety. We are still leading the way in vehicle safety, developing many products and patenting new technologies.

Zonesafe RFID Detection
Zonesafe RFID detection creates a 360 degree detection zone around the vehicle/machine or forklift. An antenna is placed in the vehicle and employees wear a tag. If an employee enters the detection zone, both driver and employee are alerted by the tag vibrating. Zonesafe is very suitable for building sites, recycling sites and last but not least for large distribution centres/warehousing. In fact for every place where vehicles drive and employees walk.
AI Camera's
AI cameras for vehicle safety; Almost every week, cyclists and pedestrians are involved in accidents with commercial vehicles. Many vulnerable road users are unaware of the blind spots at the front and rear of a truck, leading to serious incidents because they are not seen by the driver. The Brigade team believes that for optimal safety, truck drivers need a combination of direct and indirect vision and other advanced safety equipment, such as passive and active technology. AI cameras are a new generation of active blind spot detection. Using artificial intelligence, the cameras detect and recognize the human form within the predefined detection zone and reliably warn the driver visually and/or audibly before a potential collision occurs. The image processing is built into the camera, meaning no other hardware is required.
Backeye®360 AI
All vehicles have blind spots – areas around the vehicle that are obscured to the driver by bodywork or machinery. Notably, these blind spots become more critical in the context of large heavy-duty vehicles, amplifying the potential risks they pose on the road. When the driver is performing a manoeuvre, blind spots pose a significant danger to anything or anyone in the vehicle’s path. A staggering number of collisions involving vulnerable road users occur regularly because they are unaware of the blind spots surrounding a vehicle, leading to a collision as they have not been spotted by the driver. HFR HD Backeye®360 is a 360-degree high-definition four-camera system enhanced by artificial intelligent technology to identify humans and effectively eliminate all blind spots. Providing a comprehensive view of the surrounding area in a single image, HFR HD Backeye®360 audibly and visually alerts the driver when a person is detected using artificial intelligence.
